The way a plate is made.
A calm walkthrough of our six-stage process, from raw clay to finished piece — the same process behind every Clayzio order, whether it's one plate or fifty thousand.

- 01
Clay body
We source local Indian clays and blend them in-house for strength, weight and warmth of tone. Each body is aged for a minimum of 21 days.
- 02
Forming
Wheel-thrown for our signature collections; slip-cast and jigger-jolly for hospitality volumes. Every piece is trimmed by hand.
- 03
Bisque firing
First firing at 980°C stabilises the piece and prepares the surface for glaze. Each kiln load is hand-inspected.
- 04
Glazing
20+ reactive glazes, developed in our lab. Applied by dip, brush or spray depending on the finish we want to catch.
- 05
Gloss firing
Fired to 1240°C — the temperature that gives our pieces hospitality-grade durability and the depth in the glaze surface.
- 06
Quality & pack
Hand-inspected, weight-checked, custom packed. Ready for pan-India dispatch or export.
